I am very fortunate to have an extremely supportive family.

My parents are Christopher and Hilary Imm. They devote a lot of time to helping us with our homework, running us to our lessons/activities, and researching the best ‘next step’ for each of us.  They feel their best parenting decisions have been to expose us to being in front of an audience at a very young age, encourage a strong work ethic through real life experiences on the job, and choosing Liberty Classical Academy for our education.

My mom loves music and research and my dad loves cars and cooking which works out great because my mom does not love cooking or cars and is perfectly happy being the prep chef and driving any car my dad picks out, as long as it has seat warmers.

My dad works from home and sometimes travels.  He works with Private Equity Companies.  He is usually up to date on current events and can talk to anyone.  He can memorize very quickly and easily.  I am thankful he passed that gift to me!

My brother Andrew is 9 years old and in 3rd grade.  We have always been close, probably because we are so close in age (a little less than 17 months apart!)  We always did everything together until I went to Kindergarten.  We started dancing together as soon as he could walk, which was when he was about one year old.  We were in my second and his first recital that year. The following year we both began competing in dance competitions and I began competing in singing competitions as well.  We had a lot of fun dancing together and Andrew still has a passion for dance!  He is currently a dance captain for his competition dance line at Larkin Dance Studio and practices 6-7 days a week!  He is usually a good sport about my passion for pageants.  Last year he even competed in a fundraiser pageant- and he WON!  He was Master American Coed 2014 and even performed a dance solo for the state pageant when I gave up my crown.  He also models and has been in commercials.  We were even in a commercial together once along with our grandparents!  That was a lot of fun because it was filmed on a farm and we got to chase chickens and try to catch them!

My little brother Gabe is 4 years old.  He loves to cheat at any game we play and I think it’s sort of funny.  I just hope he grows out of that before he goes to Kindergarten or he may have a problem!  He beat me (ha, ha) at Candyland 3 times today!  When he was a baby, my parents called me the “Gabey Whisperer” because I could get him to say words and do things that no one else could.  I enjoy playing with him, reading to him and singing his Goodnight Gabey song at bedtime to the tune of “Good Night Ladies”.  When I practice vocal warm-ups and my singing he often sings along with me. The best was when he would sing “Popular” with my movements, that was so c-u-t-e!  Just like Andrew and me Gabe is also in dance.  He takes swimming lessons twice a week and loves it! My parents have always tried to help us follow our passions and we have a feeling his is swimming…time will tell.
